Vale Gary Christian who passed away this week after a battle with cancer.
Gary is a highly respected painter and sculptor who has lived and worked in the Southern Highlands since 2020 and has been a regular exhibitor with, and supporter of, Arts in the Valley over many years.

Gary had over 25 solo exhibitions across Australia, he won numerous awards and his sculptures have been commissioned by The University of Western Sydney, Mount Annan Botanic Gardens and many city buildings.

Gary is known for his calm, thoughtful and caring manner. He built strong friendships amongst the local art community and we will sorely miss his presence at Arts in the Valley events.

We pass on our sincere condolences to his wife, Cath, and his family and friends.
